Southbelt Plantation - An Autumn Portrait

Spend a while in Southbelt while the autumn colours linger. Take the footpath from the lane and pass through the copper wall. Walk the avenue of ramrod beech trees half a mile long. Go early and catch the roe deer unawares. Listen to the mist-soaked leaves drip, dripping.
