Welcome to the Wolds Photo website, and thank you for visiting.

Three weeks in, and while the world around us seems to become stranger and more worrying almost by the day, 2022 has at least offered some wonderful mist and fog: the perfect excuse to forget about goings on in Westminster, Ukraine and elsewhere, and head into the woods to take pictures. Several of those photographs are now included in the Land and B&W pages.

I've added a couple of new coastal images as well, taken in mid-January at Thornwick Bay and Bridlington on the Yorkshire coast. Conditions weren't great, but it was good to get out there again.

Aside from the recent publication some of my images by On Landscape, I've been asked to contribute two pictures to the new Frames magazine photography app. The app publishes just two images each day from around the world and covering all photographic genres, with a short article about each. The first of my images is due for publication on February 24th and you can download the app here.

I'll shortly be replacing my current printing service, having invested in my own professional printer. For now, you can still order via the Format Prints Marketplace here, but in the near future (when I've got to grips with the technology), you'll be able to order direct from me.  If you don't see the image you're looking for, just contact me.

As ever, I'll be adding to these pages and via my Instagram feed here (or via the link at the foot of this page) as we move through the winter, with more seascapes, moody monochromes and the perhaps some washed-out winter colour.

Sign-up for updates via the Contact page and I'll let you know when new pictures appear on the website, and occasionally when I have something more to say about photography. Feel free to contact me if you'd like to know more about my work.

Most of all, just enjoy the pictures and the landscapes they capture.

Thanks for visiting.
